The sun was glaring on my computer monitor this afternoon, so I haven’t yet been able to post my Pittsburgh Photos.
Instead, I spent the last hour or so watching The Vice Guide to Travel, my newest Netflix pick (I finally gave up and returned two of the DVDs that I had held onto for too long while waiting to be inspired to watch all of the special features).
It’s definitely worth seeing.
Basically, a bunch of ex-frat boys go abroad to some fairly unstable places, come across mostly as assholes and ugly Americans, but someone come back with some worthwhile reportage.
The DVD has about half a dozen or so short (10 minute or less) documentaries.
Not worth buying, but a surprisingly worthwhile way to kill an hour, be entertained, and actually learn something, all while rolling your eyes at the presenters.
