This actually started off on my honorable mention list, but somehow kept working its way higher and higher up. Maybe that’s just because this is the most recent item on the countdown (it was just one month ago yesterday), but honestly I think it deserves to be here. I have a feeling that years from now, when I think back on my time in Syracuse, this will be one of the things that I remember first.
Unless you’re brand new to my site, you’re very familiar with all of the details. And if you’re not, you can read them by clicking on the link below. Suffice it to say that I had a blast. And the whole poll thing made the fun drag on for a few weeks leading up to the show, which just made things better. Admittedly, my plans for the whole trip were pretty ridiculous. The whole night could have been a total disaster for any number of possible reasons. But it wasn’t. In my original post, I complained a little about the setlist. And while I might have been a little disappointed by that, it really didn’t take anything away from a great time. Really. All in all, there is absolutely nothing I would have changed. This was a completely crazy idea that worked out perfectly, and in my book, that’s about the best type of success possible.
